I am a Registered Clinical Counselor, and a mindfulness meditation educator. I am also currently completing a PhD in Educational Psychology at Simon Fraser University. My studies focus on Buddhist psychology, attachment theory, and social-emotional education. I have an MA in Counselling Psychology and a BA in Psychology, Counselling and Human Development. I have worked within the field of mental health, and for a number of social service agencies with children, youth and families for over 20 years. In addition to my passion for understanding human nature, and the benefits of relational attachment security and mindfulness meditation, the most important aspect of my life is my family and their well-being. I am married with two children, and it is these relationships, my own personal experiences of overcoming adversity, and the ongoing challenges of juggling community service, self-care, family, work, school, friends and interests that inspire me to support others in living healthy, joyful lives.
